DIABETES AWARENESS
CBS United conducts diabetes awareness events at churches, sporting events, and schools throughout the year. We have teamed up with medical doctors and nurses to educate people about this serious disease and promote healthy eating habits and daily exercising routines in inner city communities. The goal is to help people create a healthy lifestyle and not wait until there is a problem to change. Our team has quick fact pamphlets, perform blood sugar monitoring tests and answer questions on site.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL BOOK BAG DRIVE
The Carsarraine Blackwell Back-to-School Book Bag Drive promotes the importance of education and good character. Elementary, middle, and high school age students are recipients in this event. Our goal is to give away 100 + book bags filled with school supplies for students. The purpose of this is to prepare our students with tools necessary for success in the classroom. We understand that EDUCATION + GOOD CHARACTER = SUCCESS IN LIFE!
